I broke my fast at Al-Falah mosque yesterday. They really serve good food there. A lot of nationalities attended d 'event'. It's my first time for this yr to eat there. D main food for d evening is 'Nasi Minyak'. Not bad eh? They also serve 'murtabak', curry puffs, fruitys n porridge. Love d porridge though. D meat is chunky...hehehe.

Wat is simply encouraging is d fact dat some of my close friends have now realise d importance of future planning. Lately, I noticed dat few of them have already look forward for d next step in life. D next step in life will eventually come thru if one doesn't even have to wait. Like age, it will add oneself from it's initial stage rather than makiing d number lessens. Work, marriage, family...etc. D choices in life r infinite but rather transparently clear...

Ran abt 5km along my werkplace before breaking my fast with two of my colleagues. Crazy rite? But I manage to finish it in 29 minutes...amazing rite? With my damaged knee in a 'guard' n luckily d air is not stuffy. It's rather cooling in Jurong Island these few days. A few raindrops fell a few minutes after we ran. So maybe i'll make it a point to run on tuesday n thursday...hehehe. They'll show some people dat fasting doesn't mean dat we r weak...GO BOYAN!!!

When I was way, way younger than today, I used to break my fast in my grandma's place, she made great tasting food. After our usual maghrib prayers, my uncle gathered all d young ones including me to pray 'terawih' in different mosque each night. It was a nice change from d usual mosque we go every night. Soon, we had to settle on d same mosque after we ran out of options...hehehe.

Today is my first of two days in n 'offsite review' meeting in Meritus Mandarin Hotel but I think it's a dissappointing one. Invited to b in our meeting were some management staffs who were there to witness our progression for our latest project in 2005 but from their faces, I could c frustration n confused faces. Some of us 'shoot' each other straight in front of those guests. One of these guest happens to b our 2nd Manufacturing Manager. Some of those guys whose egos were being 'shot' down, challenges d other on d former's views. Luckily, those words exchanged did not turned to some big arguement. I would really suggest to them dat we should settle these things between us first b4 presenting to d guests. These r really unnecessary things n it really wastes alot of our time. Tomorrow will b even worse, i guess...

I got n email from my workplace, offering a course on photography skills. A subsidised one! It offered 68 bucks for d whole session...(not one day but a few days) rather than 128 bucks!!! It's almost half of d original price...I had to take some courses to 'improve' my 'skills' though...hehehe...if I have one...

Vioxx, a painkiller which was sold for $2 a pill, has been ban to b prescribe to Singaporeans by d government. It was found out dat this drug can double d risk of heart disease or stroke if taken for more than 18 mths. Which was worrying for me is dat, I used to take it for my injured knee ligaments but stopped immediately (abt a few days later) s I developed n allergy to it n most painkillers. Dis news really makes me wonder if it's some sort of written fate by God, telling me dat my recurring injury on d knee is a sign dat no painkillers is s gd s enduring it...quitte 'chim' eh?
