Juz came back from d
Blood Donation Drive from my company. I was forcely volunteered to wear d
'Blood' mascot. Well, it was fun. I was d most popular person in
Westmall when I don dat costume...hehehe. Kids, adults, young & old gathered ard me & were trying to shake my hands. Some even hugged me & took photos. I was gaining popularity. D common werds I heard were, "So cute!". Yea right, try wearing it for an hour an a half. I was giving balloons & tissue papers with flyers to those who walked in to
Westmall. I was relieved by somebody after my time was up.
I thought I was not popular anymore after I took off my costume. I was wrong. When I was giving away tissues & balloons in another part of Westmall's entrance. Four young sec 2 girls were watching me & my colleague . They asked for balloons from us so I gave them. They were giggling away from time to time. About a few minutes later, three of them stood up & began asking us if they could volunteer themselves to give away our 'merchandise'. Oh ok, I thought...these were nice kids. So they gave away plenty of d 'merchandise' to everyone...hehehe. Dis makes my job a lot easier.
Volunteers r sure hard to come by these days but these girls r exceptional. After 5 pm, we bade farewell to these young kids & gave them some 'presents' to bring back home...hehehe...& to those who have donated, I sincerely say...
THANK YOU...
