 I never knew to a great extend, somebody would hate dis animal. Cute, cuddly & most of d time harmless creature. Wat is most disturbing is d fact dat there have been some killings & torturing of dis lovely animal near my vicinity. I appeal to all bloggers to lend a helping hand to aprehend d culprit who has been making dis vicious crime. Volunteers r needed urgently. I received a mail from a cat lover. Subject: Westenders need help - Jurong East Cat Killer killed 12 cats so far
Hi everyone,
I believe most of everyone has heard about a cat killer in Jurong East. This killer is more aggressive than the Bedok and Old Airport Rd killer. Within span of 2 weeks, this killer has taken lives of 12 cats. You can read about the killings on www.catwelfare.blogspot.com
Presently, Dawn from CWS and Sandy from SOS and a a couple of volunteers (Sharifah who tracked down Bedok Killer, Lynn) and Westenders (Karen, Kahyong and Mdm Soon) engaged in different tasks trying to stop these killings.
Some of the Westenders are very drained from the patrols (that sometimes end at 4am; killings occur so far from 2-4am) and from finding their cats dead.
They seriously require help now to track down this cat killer. If you think you can lend them a hand physically or financially (sponsor cameras to install - westenders will be getting some of the cameras from trapping the Old Airport Rd Killer), pls contact me at mesakoa@hotmail.com I will link you up with the westenders involved right now.

 REAL RUN!!! I've conquered it despite n aching groin (d sand part was really tough) & a swollen right knee after d run...woohoo!!!
1st time doing it...next will b half marathon in december...any takers? |

 Once in a while, somebody @ werk has dis crazy feeling to treat d guys..fattening ain't it...hehehe...well for those of u who is not familiar with this (not singaporean dat is), it's wat we call "Tulang" (pronounced s Too-Lang). Mutton bones with bits of flesh cooked in chilli concoction "gravy" & eaten raw or with bread. Singaporeans tend to slurp d marrow. Sounds disgusting rite? But dat's d way it is...hehehe... |

Sweet things dat won't last...but only in d memory...
Once we live in a simple environment. No hp, pagers, emails or even pcs. My favorite pasttime was trekking. I realise dat living in Jurong was rather rewarding when I was young. There's alot of "unchartered areas" near my backyard. These "areas" later became known to me s d SAF training grds. It's thick shrubs n tall trees became a perfect place for adventure. A few of my buddies would gather nearly once a week to trek d "wilderness". Soon we also discovered plenty of fruit trees. Hehehe...papayas, rambutans, bananas n even durians, juz to name a few, are some of d produce we brought home. I used to give to my close family members too...hehehe. I'm not sure why these "train of thoughts" suddenly came to me but good ol' times r hard to come by...haih...

Someone @ werk feels dat there's a need to treat d team...hehehe. So he ordered some food but alas, it's not halal. He quickly noticed his mistake & ordered 2 pizza & some chicken wings from a fast-food company...Woohoo!!!
